Assoc. Prof. Berna Zengin Arslan
A graduate of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bilkent University. She completed her MA in Gender and Women’s Studies at Middle East Technical University and her PhD in Sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her research focuses on religion and secularism, sociology of science and technology, and gender studies. She has conducted research at institutions such as UC Berkeley, CUNY, and Sciences Po. She is a recipient of the Fulbright, the Sociological Review Outstanding Scholarship, and the BAGEP awards.
